The weekend...

The weekend was spent in London as it was my University gathering Christmas dinner that I organised. We had twenty four people attend and we hosted it at the Narrowboat which is possibly my favourite pub in London. It is right by the canal so I took some nice photos on my way there...
We had the meal there last year too but I had to leave early as I was really flu-y. Fortunately I was okay this time round and the meal was very enjoyable and festive...
Not-so-fortunately after we left the venue to go elsewhere I had my night ruined by an insensitive person who I called my 'boyfriend' once a long time ago...and I call my friend now - though he certainly didn't act like a caring friend that night. I was to blame too with too much drinking and bad behaviour but if he'd been a bit more tactful in the first place it might not have escalated like it did.

Pah! Anyone else had to deal with exs-come-friends?! We are of the same friendship group so it isn't easy to avoid each other and I don't know about him but I do care for him when he isn't being a toss-pot...probably care too much eh?! Bloody exs...

On a more positive note, it is the last week of school and Christmas festivities and the students have been wicked at lifting my mood. Love my job! :) xxx
