Old Song, New Song

I went to go see Dark Shadows last week with a friend and as I suspected...it wasn't all that. I am not really into Tim Burton (save Beetle Juice and his older works) and the Johnny Depp/Helena Bonham Carter combination. It worked well for Sweeney Todd - I was pleasantly surprised - but with the constant churn outs ever since, the effect has begun to wane.

Clearly these guys love working together and they must really enjoy themselves and maybe its a fool-proof cash formula and they'll always please the die hard fans but I don't know...I think they are losing it in terms of...well...originality.

Anyway, one saving grace was the film reminded me how much I love this song below and how I must purchase it immediately when I get paid on Thursday.
So that is the old one...Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues..., gooooosebumpy! And for the new one, well it had slipped my mind for a time but one of my friend's ex's belongs to this fabulous band called Troubadour Rose (formally known as Sailorette) and I used to listen to this song of theirs all the time: Labour of Love. They are launching this as their debut single very soon and I noticed the event page on Facebook along with a fancy video so I thought I would share it here too. Enjoy! :) xxx

That's so funny! i watched Dark Shadows a while ago and then I posted a short review which was pretty much the same as yours! It's great when I read posts with which I agree 100%. Also, the new song is great; I didn't know the band so thanks!
