NEW YEARS DAY
...And oh hello? I'm up at 5am and everyone else (namely my friend who I'm sharing a room with) has gone to bed on New Years Day and I'm still feeling sprightly...
...And hello? You guys up next door? Can I come in and talk to you for a bit? I can't sleep...
...And er hello?! What do you think you're doing?! Ex boyfriend putting his arm around me...fortunately he fell asleep in minutes and I crawled away back to my room.
...And hello? says a party-goer friend on the other side of London as he answers the phone. Girl, it is almost 6am and you're calling me from the Travel Lodge toilet? I'm out of it...I need to go to bed...
...And hello?!! Man it is dark in this Travel Lodge bathroom...oh please don't tell me I just pulled the emergency cord which I thought was the bathroom light switch!!!
...And hello Mr Travel Lodge Supervisor! No, I'm fine (I'm actually inebriated), nothing to worry about...
...And hello, again, five minutes later! Yeah the alarm hasn't disengaged...
...And hello to your supervisor some time later still...yup, despite fiddling with buttons over my comatose sleeping friend's head we still haven't deactivated it...I am rather tired now...
......zzzzz......
...And HELLO! GOOD MORNING!!!! (I don't see anything good about it except...well.... it is sunny) Let's leave just that bit earlier to try and grab a Spoonies breakfast fry-up before they stop serving at 12 chirps the Ex and a friend at 11am when they bang on the door.
...And oh hello Dad, you're early... as he pulls alongside us in the car as we walk on route to Spoonies.
...And ahhhhh!!! Hello!!! (kiss, kiss) Long time no see distant relatives who live locally and who I haven't seen since a funeral five years ago. I've had four hours sleep. Thank goodness you love to talk and I can just sit back and listen.
...And 'well hello there sexy Dominos Pizza' hangover cure later when we get home.
...And hello!!!!! I love you warm bed (at 7.30 pm that evening) !!!!

...And Hello! And Goodbye! And hello! And Goodbye! etc etc, repeat x 5. Like a doctor's surgery with friends literally coming and going in the tight time frame I have to see them all before going back to Spain.
...And hello dentist and doctor...it is Curious Cat MOT time...
...And hello unwanted letter from the Tax Man telling me I owe money... (I don't, Jobseekers messed up, but it took 4-5 hours to work this out. 4-5 hours I would like back please along with the money I spent on the phone calls)
It has been an eventful 2013 so far...!

Oh, we were in a family hotel room like that one in nov - it's a miracle no one pulled the emergency cord! Have a healthy and happy 2013!
