I'm trying to think of more...! Any suggestions?
Back in Spain now and it is simply remarkable the difference between here and the UK when it comes to the winter sunshine. It is enough to make one wonder if they shouldn't just live in Spain permanently...except I'd miss too many other things...!
I've got two days left before I go back to work and I'm slowly getting ahead with the planning. I need to also get a haircut rather desperately. I've arrived at my new place and I'm all unpacked and settled and it is good to be so close to everything!
Yesterday was the Spanish equivalent of Christmas Eve. I missed the main parade where the Three Wise Kings go past in floats throwing candy to the children but I saw them as they arrived by boat in the port at the beginning and as they conjugated in the main plaza at the end, asking the kids if they had been good that year and then to go home and to bed early to await their visits. They are basically the equivalent of Father Christmas but they are sat in a religious context instead one of made-up commercialism -though that is not to say it isn't a bit commercial - but I think if it were a UK event we'd have loads of brand sponsorship stamped all over it. I was amused to see that the candy wasn't branded in anyway except with the words 'Tarragona' on it.
Anyway it was a nice evening and it was lovely to see my colleagues after a spell away. Here are some photos for you! :) xxx

LOVE how your pictures seem to have captured the spirit, even though I've never been to Tarragona or witnessed such a festivity.
