THE PAST
Name: Jasper
Home: Finchley, London
What we know: His family left to go to New York. He is 3 years old and was acquired when his owner was pregnant. He likes Sheba and typical supermarket brand food. He wasn't too happy about leaving his life home and sensed we were coming....

THE PRESENT:
Name: Yasser Aracat (because it kind of sounds like Jasper and because we thought it was very funny)
Home: Hampshire (Chavsville city as my mother likes to call it)
What we know: He was immediately drawn to the safety of the dining room table where he now dwells. He growls at Marley and mews gently at us. He likes to be stroked but don't touch his side or feel his wrath and he's not very keen on being picked up. He is like Bubba - he can do the hoopla!

THE FANTASY:
Name: Robocat (at night and in secret)
Home: Outer Space
What we know: He has laser eyes. He has come here to find out about the human race and pass on intelligence to his people. He can zapfry a mouse into dust in seconds. His internal organs are made from some hi-tec aluminium foil. He can read your thoughts...he is willing you to love him more than Marley. Marley can see through this and he is unimpressed. His past story is all a ruse...as is the present story.
